If the folks in Washington ever wipe out the income tax and replace it with a national sales tax my bet is that the U.S. Capitalist system will markedly improve. Way too much time and money is spent on figuring out how to pay less taxes or how to pay taxes owed. Then there is the administration and enforcement overhead. Get rid of all that and things will improce substantially.
