Hi folks, Formidable eclipse today!!!!!!!!!! I'm sending this messqge from Side in Turkey where I am with flemish compatriots (got to get used to this keyboard)..... I've also had a ride in a hot air balloon earlier this week (a first). Everything happened as well as possible! We all took zillions of pictures, mine must still arrive at the PC at home. The shadow rushing from the sea, the totality, the Baily Beads all occured as predicted. Venus could be seen several seconds before totality. I never could spot Mercury nor ISS.......I wasted some time out of the 3 minutes. 45 seconds we had to try to look for the station. It wa my third total solar eclipse and the most sucessful (even if I didn't have binoculars like the first time. It's like a cosmic orgasm. a must for those who never experienced one. See you after next saturday. I know my pictures are not as good as other's. but that2s not too important.
