Hurley went out on an already vastly overloaded deck, it collapsed and two people died. He became so depressed and guilt-ridden that he was committed to an institution. One of his fellow patients kept repeating a series of numbers over and over and over. After Hurrley was released, he played those numbers in a lottery and won millions. He went to Australia to try to find out where the numbers came from, without success. On the way back to LA....
