Well, there's no denying that MS has plenty of experience with serious design flaws. But whether their being honest about the security risks, it could take a while to determine. My guess, and that's all it is, is that there *may* be a tiny seed of truth that they're depicting as an old-growth forest. Google And Mozilla don't really have a history of major security snafus.
Gaming is a big part of MS's revenue stream, though, and they'll go to the wall to protect that investment. Smearing potential competition is the beginning, not the end. FWIW, though, they're in a thuggish industry.
