Thanks! The tech is largely gobbledegook to me (I hadn't even heard of WebGL until now) but it sounds like a lot of people are on top of the problems.
Still not seeing any "thuggery" in this, though. Microsoft's history wasn't half as "proprietary" as Apple's used to be.
