voting on party alone is a betrayal of america....
I cannot say that I would have voted for any Republicans... but there have been cases where I would vote for a Republican over the Democrat... but only when I trusted the republican to honestly do what they felt was correct, and (as is often the case in Oklahoma politics) the opponent is all about being re-elected I sure as hell did not support them...
I remember the contest between Anne Richards and Clayton Williams in texas, I was not a big fan of anne, but the idea of Clayton being govenor scared me to death...
