You know where the man stands.
He did do a funny bit about language and words, teaching his
daughter that although swears are just words that certain
people made into something bad, one still has to be careful
where to use them.
For example, he told her not to go to one of her friend's
birthday parties and ask "for a piece of f*****g cake!"
Tonight will be ... dark. Followed by continued dark,
with widely scattered light in the morning.
Saw him in concert in 1983. Had the audience on the floor
laughing. Sometimes even I find him getting a bit too vulgar
and bitter, but overall he is funny and he does not shy away
from his targets. That's one small benefit of getting older,
you can be like a little kid and say just what is on your mind.
