FOSSILISED FISH THE MISSING LINK WITH LIMBED VERTEBRATES (Science Show:

More than 300 million years ago fish became the first creatures to leave the
water for the land, but until now, due to the lack of fossil evidence,
scientists have had no way to prove this theory. All this could change with
the discovery in the Canadian arctic circle, of several fossilised remains
of a crocodile-like fish named Tiktaalik roseae from the Devonian period.
