I live about 10-15 miles from the one of the last bombing ranges for training pilots in the US and it's been awfully busy lately. We only hear the jets before major airstrikes such as Gulf War I and II. The past couple of months they've been training pilots almost daily. I figured they may have been Israeli pilots, but who knows?
But last week we had a massive gathering of Airforce, Army and Navy pilots who were in town for a whole week of exercises (it was even on the news). You could hear flyovers for up to 30 minutes at a time, sorta like a jet march. Several days of this and I was glad to leave the state.

Pretty impressive. One of my neighbours remarked it made him feel safe, for that was the sound of freedom flying.

I thought......sounds more like the Death March to me.......
