Well, I'll put it this way, it's not a recession.
But I think what said "Of course the title is slightly misleading. I see no evidence that global warming has stopped. Or in other words I see no evidence that we are entering a cooling trend."
As I've said before. I think it would good idea to develop more nuclear power generators. I think the US, which has about 8% of it's total power coming from nukes, should increase by about 50% [12% of total power]. That would be a significant increase, but we still wouldn't be have as much of power needs supplied by nuclear power say as France or Japan. I also think that if India increases it's nuclear power, that would be a good thing.
Now, I don't see this as the total solution [because obviously it's not] but it would lower our dependent on imported energy, lower CO2 and other pollutions. So, even though I don't think CO2 is a real problem, I can't be certain. But what I am certain about is that global warming is mostly psendo science- and if you depending on MSM news sources, almost 100% is bunk.
Probably the reason I have some uncertainty mainly has to do with the high growth rates of in countries of the world's highest populations. For instance I believe it's possible that China is already producing as much CO2 as the US- they burn more than twice the amount of coal and coal is a large source of CO2.
Whereas with carbon sinks included, the US though often said to be big producer, it actually is sucking up more CO2 then it's producing- the same can't be said about China. And what about the affects of 3 gorge dam- is this going to produce much methane? And problem with China in general is lack of science and data so it's a bit running blind in regards to China and other developing countries. Which more reason why Kyoto sucked.
