I posted quotes from other people who had heard Pianka's opinions, other than Mims. Someone posted a long comment with links at the end of the blog to that effect.

I do believe the FBI and other attacks are serious overkill. It's enough to get the opinions out there for people to see. I still say Pianka falls into that class of doomsayers that is all too eager to see his predictions come true.
