Summer Internships with the Mars Gravity Biosatellite Program

Announcement from the Mars Gravity program at MIT:

Dear students and space enthusiasts,

The Mars Gravity Biosatellite Program would like to invite you to apply for a summer internship on a ground-breaking satellite design mission. This satellite is currently the only option for investigating the long term effects of partial gravity on mammals - something we must understand before sending astronauts to Mars or beyond.

All majors and experience levels are welcome! Last summer interns came from all over the world to work with the dedicated team of students and researchers at MIT, and this summer work will be continuing at both MIT and at Georgia Tech. To date, over 400 hundred students from 17 countries have contributed time, energy and enthusiasm to the Mars Gravity Program, sustaining research in a largely unexplored field of study.

We have positions for engineers, scientists, web designers, recovery operations managers, and more. Join students and researchers as they work towards a Preliminary Design Review in the coming months, gaining real world experience and taking a critical step on the path to human Mars missions. If you would you like to participate, please visit http:// www.marsgravity.org to download the internship application. Applications must be submitted by April 30th.

Positions are currently available in:

-Urinalysis Biochemistry Development
-Skeletal Analysis Finite Element Modeling
-CAD Modeling
