We know so little about solar systems

Is every planet discovered orbiting a distant star on the same plane as our solar system, or on the same plane with eachother?

I can imagine several years from now will be classifying Planets more like we now do stars.

Let's wait until Horizon reaches Pluto and Charon so we can make further observations.
