Based on this and other things I've seen, I think it's now beyond doubt that had Kerry won the election, he would have bailed out of Iraq at the first opportunity. A lot of people probably think that's a good thing, I suppose, but that's not what he was selling before the election. Kind of like his feeble attempts to be pro-military, and pro-defense.

Bush hasn't exactly hit the uprights on every kick, and in some cases, like immigration and spending, he's grabbed the ball and run for the wrong goal line. But I would still vote for him over Kerry in a minute, and I suspect so would a lot of others.
