You won the bet, but I think we both knew
that "sapping" at the bottom of cliff faces/escarpments
on Mars was a given...And overhangs or caves were the likely result.
Of course...I don't expect we'll see images of a martian caveman
dragging his club and his mate to that overhang [wink]...
I think he would be severely frostbitten, sunburned and extremely short out of breath.
