Update on an old flap
The famous "Air Force One" memo was used as "proof" that Valerie Plame's name and status were classified. Why? Because her name appeared in a paragraph that was classified. It was pointed out that this didn't necessarily follow, but it was still batted around quite a bit until it died down.
Apparently much of the memo has been released under a FOIA filing, and is discussed here, along with a link to a copy of the redacted memo. It's obvious that Plame's name has nothing to do with the status of the paragraph. Some other issues are clarified, too.
