Well, that's who most of the recruits are....the innocent.
And those are mostly it's victims too...the innocents.

The article was well written from the ladies perspective. It wasn't too harsh, and I wouldn't even call it a liberal point of view. It's just an uncensored look into rural America. I saw the indoctrination while my own kids attended school. It's normal to notice these things.

Tom's patriotism stems from the belief that if he showcases his love of American nationalism, that MAYBE he'll get that government contract After all he IS a patriotic American!

I've met those types before.
The ones with the clean shirts and are too old to go to war. Armchair warriors. All of 'em.

Then I've met the real soldiers. The ones who still stand behind nationalism and killing. Will even bring out pictures from the Vietnam war. Like the one of him and his buddy standing holding up the HEAD (only) of a "gook". Like some wild animal trophy. Yeah, that's the type of guy who hates "lefties". And we decry the barbarians among the muslim "terrorists".
Killing begets killing.
Unfortunately, this "war" with Iraq is illegal and one of the worst modern mistakes of all times.
