If Zarqawi is captured or killed and the mainstream press don't report it, you have an ironclad right to complain.

Fine. Based on that kind of thinking, let's not see any news stories on attacks on Americans in Iraq unless they actually succeed.

I've seen a lot of negative news stories on Iraq and other things based on much less information than this. Seymour Hersh's hallucinated nuclear attack on Iran has certainly made the rounds.
