She has had a pretty bad last few months losing her mother then her father. No wonder she wants to spend time with her family!
I find it funning that at space.com they headline with, "NASA's First Female Shuttle Commander Retires from Spaceflight"
I hope they are wrong! She would make a great private space pilot...
