re: comet statistics

Just finished observing. Found 73P C, but couldn’t locate B. The longer I looked at C after failing to find B the fainter it became. Probably do to high clouds, lousy light polution and the moon was sporting a large ring around it by that time.

The tail shows good at 140 power and was best for viewing with all the local lights.

Tried to take a pic, but no luck. I couldn’t even get the Ring Nebula to show on the screen, but did manage Jupiter and 4 moons.

Will have to try again tonight if I can hang. Been a long day and will be up in a few hours for a motorcycle run with my daughter.
