That's because it wasn't that funny.
I didn't think any of Colbert stuff was disrespectful not in that forum anyhow- it's traditional for it to be rowdy. The most disrespectful Colbert got was bit about the value of minimal govt [regarding Iraq]- and that was his best line.
Now, the Left is saying Colbert knocked out of the park- but it was only *hoped* he would do this.
Instead he hit single and barely got on base.
Meanwhile the president kicked butt. I wish he would take his State of Union as seriously:)
