And, I don't have a clue as to what you mean by an "all American boy being disgusting."

The reality is that a certain amount of participatory justice exists in the prison system. This is not a codified justice system it is a street justice system and is something the society in which it is practised lacks many of the attributes of civilized society. However, codes exist and I don't know how a self acknowledged mass murder would fair. Apparently you have a view that torture of a disgusting nature would be in order. I don't know your basis for such a judgement, but I accept you have one.

Prisons have their own systems of order, on one level enforced by the authority of the guards and a second by the guarded. The rec yards is the location where these systems sometimes diverge.
