Now owned by McAfee, SiteAdvisor offers a free plug-in (Browser Helper Object) for Internet Explorer and an extension for Firefox that wil give search engine users a way to determine the safety of a Website before visiting it.

SiteAdvisor found no significant problems with the NSA, AT&T and White House home pages.
