Simpler answer
A lot of people in the mainstream media, the ones who decide what news we're going to see, would saw off their right arm with a rusty hacksaw to see George W. Bush go down in flames.
I've been watching for a long time, now, including major anchormen sitting there gray from shock at the 2004 election turnaround. I won't even mention countless polls of news people on their political leanings.
Why do liberals keep fighting the obvious conclusion? Nobody else is kidding themselves. If you have no trouble admitting that Fox News leans right, why so resistant to the rest?
