"But if the apologists for capitalism are correct, it is not necessary to do anything...."
Interesting term: apologists for capitalism.
It seems like label an anarchist or perhaps a communist might use. So, it's fitting use for poster with handle of Elisee Reclus. But other than that, what actually are these apologists?
Now, let's take Henry Ford- one of many icons of capitalism.
Obviously, his public support of Hitler should give one ample material to apologize for. Therefore, if one were to actually have these apologists in any great numbers this might be target rich environment.
So, perhaps those running the various Foundations set up by various gaints of capitalism could be said to have apologizing as one of duties [main duty??]. And if you have lots of money, it seems that giving money is the only serious way of apologizing, no?
But it's all rather confusing, it seems as though those finanically supported socialists who are spewing various levels of nonsense could be referred to these apologists for capitalism- but of course that isn't what is meant- is it?
Now I wonder who is the best apologists for capitalism? Well paid servants? Or poorly paid servants? Or well paid servants who pretend they are poor? All very fascinately, I'm sure.
But if I were to be apologist for capitism, I would it find hard to keep a straight face- and OBVIOUSLY this would disqualify me from doing this very important job.
As for the rest of your paragraph:
"... The opportunities will quickly be seized upon by far-seeing entrepreneurs, capital will materialize magically, and wonderful things will happen before you know it."
This has been the case and probably will be the future. So, yes, but of course, there are also terrible things that will happen- and whether something is wonderful or terrible can be somewhat subjective- but certainly plenty of material for someone to spin one way or the other. So, I guess another golden age for writers- screen, book, or whatever.
