re: Anyone know when MRO will map Oppy's region?
I imagine it will be high on the list of early targets, but MRO won't start any proper work till November when aerobraking and solar-conjunction are both done. I'd say by this time next year we could expect HiRISE imagery of both MER landing sites - but that's a guess - it might be before the end of this year.
