I thought I knew East Texas - Bigfoot in Texas.
I saw this on the travel channel last night. I had no idea this has been going on in my own backyard and I have been living here my whole life. I also didn’t know we had a Texas Bigfoot Research Center.
According to the show, a lot of the sightings are in the Big Thicket area. I do know there are Black Bears in that area (Black Bears are making a comeback in East Texas and in the Big Bend area.
Anyway, I just found it amusing that this is going on right under my nose. My wife humorously commented that there are big hairy men in East Texas that could pass for Bigfoot.
