I didn't even know till I read Squyres' book last year.
I remember thinking back in '01 - worrying that there would be some people who would cash in and start trading in WTC debris like someone tried to with Columbia wreckage - but I never heard of anything like that which I was amazed and pleased about. I wonder how many honourable little projects have taken place where a small token has been involved in some way - something you'll never hear about but would be happy to know took place.
