The book's a few years old, but I recommend it too. Lots of material about day-to-day life aboard Mir. About the same time, Norman Thagard, I think it was, published his story of his tour of duty aboard Mir. The title escapes me, but it's findable via search somewhere. Both were very interesting reads.
