No, seriously. I got from the context of that blog's very first sentence that this guy must be a real villain, by his prominent place in the iconic unholy trifecta: "Saddam's old pal George Galloway makes a surprise appearance on Cuban TV and hugs Fidel live on stage." Not to mention the parallel triplet of emotional depth charges, "pal", "Cuban", and "hug". Quite a dense layering of vilification in that sentence--virtuoso work.
But I had to stop there, since the first sentence signaled that I was facing a classically dense morass of character assassination. Who is this George Galloway, and why would I have run toward him in the past if I'm supposed to be backing away from him now? What foul and despicable philosophy of his did I wholeheartedly embrace? I forget.
Although by rights I shouldn't say anything nice, seeing as how this is Flame, you're usually pretty diligent about following a link to blogiation with a link to a direct source. Good convention, could've used it here. I'm sure I disagree vehemently with you, but as yet I'm not sure why.
