Yesterday was a solemn reminder that brave and courageous American men and women are putting their lives on the line for their country. I spent the day with GAC (Great American Country) on the TV in the background while the families and loved ones dedicated songs to their husbands and sons.
While we must never forget to honor them, it was a bittersweet reminder that they over there fighting a guerilla war for a President who made a mistake by sending them there. They are fighting a "war" they shouldn't be in. And the violence yesterday (in different spurts), made it all the more realistic.
May God bless our brave soldiers and may he forgive GWB for the mess he made.
Real lives are being lost and Iraq is completely unstable, both inside and outside the "Green Zone".
What a burden for the soldiers and their families.
Honoring our Soldiers
