re: "Six world powers agreed Thursday on a 'significant' package of incentives to convince Iran to halt its uranium enrichment program"
Nice to see Russia and China onboard, but when it comes to punishment for Iran failing to agree to the terms, I doubt they will go along with sanctions.
They both are wallowing pigs in muddied economic waters when it comes to Iran.
Previous talks among Iran, Britain, France and Germany foundered last year. European diplomats and others said the United States was partly at fault, arguing that it alone carries the global weight to force Iran to bargain in good faith and to make any agreement stick.
So, once again the US is to blame for Europe’s failure at peaceful talks. Like it would have been different if the US were standing abreast during Iran’s misleading stalling tactics and we probably would have been blamed for being to cowboys on a rampage killing any chance of a deal.
I also don’t think the US alone with its global weight can force Iran at the bargaining table. We need a United Nations with backbone not hypocrisy.
I didn't catch a timeline for acceptance of the 6 nation package deal. Is there one?
