Yes, I’ve been to Pt Reyes many times, the first time when I was knee high to a grasshopper with my parents. They along with their friends would go clam hunting and have a claim bake on the beach for dinner. Maybe that’s why I only eat clams in the form of clam chowder.
The earthquake trail is an interesting hike too with visible evidence of the San Andreas fault moving north.
I’m a coastal person and have traveled the full length of Cailf. and half of the Oregon coast. There might be a couple lighthouses I haven’t stopped to explore there history in southern cal and maybe some in OR, but for the most part I’ve seen the majority of them and I’ve slept on many beaches and hiked many a coastal trail.
Pt. Reyes and Drakes Bay is definitely a hot spot to tour and you just have to be jealous of the cows. ;-)
