Disney OK's this outrageous caricature by putting ROUND BALLS on their princess. How about doing Prince Valiant with an outrageously sized rock hard phallus?
It would be the same thing, and it would send exactly the same message. But it wouldn't be allowed. My mom always told me it was "a man's world", and she's right. That statue was not designed, nor produced by women. It was done by men for other men and the young boys, or at least as a fantasy they thought they could couch in cartoons.
I really don't find it offensive because they've been using womens' bodies to sell all kinds of things over the years. I've watched the rise of it in the past few decades. However, I'm still waiting for the rock hard statue of Prince Valiant designed by some woman, marketed by women for their daughters..........
