Cats can be terrors...I once lived in a house with two female cats- one was mine, the other belonged to 'my female partner'...

The two cats got along ok for a while- then all of a sudden they both decided that the other must DIE! I was awoken one morning to a hissing and screaming that was horrifying.... I leapt out of bed and ran into the living room- bereft of ANY protective clothing- the two cats were tied up in a tight ball of fur teeth and claws- they were clearly trying to fight to the death...

I stepped in to stop the fight, I grabbed one cat and pried it away from the other one, I lifted the cat up away from the other- "Fight Over" I assumed... The cat on the floor assumed "He is holding her for me- oh goody!!!!" She proceeded to claw her way up my body to get the cat I was 'holding for her'... while that cat clawed up my leg the cat I was holding clawed up my arm and peed on me.... I narrowly avoided an accidental vascectomy...

The two had to be kept seperate for a few weeks...

Cats are lousy pets- at least some dogs REALLY try to be human.....
