But what can you expect?
It sounds like a typical summer flick - lots of cool-looking
special effects with a plot that you can predict before you
walk into the theater.
Not once have any of the previews I have seen for this film
grabbed me in any way. I guess Pixar can't make a winner
every time, but they sure did with most of their previous films.
I have wondered just how many film "reviewers" are little more
than shills for the film companies? The NPR reviewer, usually a
tough cookie, gushed over Cars, while here the NYT is anything
but impressed.
