Its the price we must pay for having started this thing in the first place. Having foolishly ignited this conflict in Iraq, this nation now has an obligation to ensure that the Iraqi people and their government achieve peace and stability. It will cost American taxpayers billions of dollars each year to do so, but its a price we now must pay.
