Apparently, the latest news is that algore is searching for 1,000 acolytes to go forth and preach the dogma of global warming caused by bad, bad humans. I'm serious. This is true.

So now we have the SETI dogmas like "Since there are wicked big numbers of stars, there must be advanced civilizations throught the galaxy" and now we have the global warming dogmas like, "We're gonna die 'cause the Earth is warming because of bad humans, mostly those bad bad people in the US". Guess folks never heard of the Earth's ongoing propensity for climate change.

Before this gets taken out of context, I've posted here numerous times that it makes scientific sense to say that human activities contribute greenhouse gasses and such gasses exacerbate climate warming. To what degree, who knows.
