Don't worry - you and me and the rest of the planet probably have a
few million years leeway if the theory is right. By then we should have
some kind of anti-space rock system in place.
Or maybe Phil is right and the threat is no more and we will drift through
the galaxy unmolested until the Sun turns into a red giant in about five
billion years and fries us all.
Either way, it's a mighty soberin' thought (re Pogo).
