Never have; never felt the need. A personal copy of the Stars and Stripes isn't necessary to remind me where I live, or of its history -- especially the history of how it came to be (which has become a hobby of mine), of which the adoption of the original circle of 13 stars, and those stripes, is a minor part.
I have no information to support or negate this, but I have heard it said that no other country in the world so reveres its flag as the US does. Could be... but I offer an exception. Where I live, it is rare indeed to see the Flag of the United States displayed alone, even on private homes, without the Flag of the Republic of Texas on an adjacent pole, only slightly shorter.
