The Democrat proposal in the Senate was to have all the troops out in a year. All of them. No matter what was going on in Iraq.

Nothing Casey mentioned in that briefing, assuming the NYT story on it was accurate, was anything like that, and it was presented only as an option.

Attempts to make these two things "equivalent" aren't going to fly.
