Where the site claimed "Publius is looking for contributors!" it should read Publius is looking for contributions. Passing the hat is a very old Gaelic custom that has apparently now reached the shores of Hong Kong.

Actually what is significant in this post is the march was allowed to take place. In and of itself, this was an important step. To keep any movement going there first has to be some degree of a hope for success. Your post clearly demonstrates that hope in Hong Kong.

And, keep well in mind, that hope hasn't required bombing or invading by us as a vehicle. Apparently that hope is homegrown and evidence that self determination might indeed be more than a buzz phrase.
