Several that show up each season ARE hoaxed. They ususally leave a hole where the center post has been staked, and the wheat is broken by their boards and shoes. Then the hoaxers ususally take credit for it.
But a few people, ropes and boards cannot change the radiation levels inside the circle, they cannot super heat the grain so the stalks burst, they cannot change the electromagnetic radiation inside the circle, nor can they change the crystalline consistency of the soil. These facts, plus the one that you never find circles "half-made", or "buggered up" and abandoned; show that these go down quickly with powerful accuracy.
Eyewitness accounts say the crop goes down in 10-30 seconds right in front of them and that there are electromagnetic effects that often knock out the local power companies about the same time.
The photographer of the most recent 3-D formation says "The move from a two-dimensional square into a three-dimensional cube might indicate that these patterns emanate from a dimension of reality we cannot access." And, having watched the progression of the simple circles into pictograms, then into optical illusions has been interestingly
<insightful.>
