Robert! How the hell are ya buddy?? Long time no see. :-)
I was wondering & asking about you a couple months back. Was wondering if you done any new programs for raw imagery since the Comb. Great to see your still around.

Sorry about the post bro. Just had no idea I was supposed to place it someplace else in here.

Hey, I'm doing fine. I checked in at RPR just now to doublecheck that it was really you, and things seem to be going strong there. I'm afraid I haven't had much time for image processing in several years, yet I miss it. The technical baton's passed to others now, notably Doug Ellison and all his work with MER.

I searched on my name over at Red Planet, and damn if my name isn't still coming up. Looks like the number of Google hits on "'Robert Shepherd' Mars" has just increased by a couple. It's old stuff, though--the Electric Warrior article goes back to 2001, and is the main reason my name still shows up at all. Having contributed nothing in so long, it's almost embarrasing to still be getting credit.

Putting posts on an inappropriate board's just a routine thing when a place has more than one board, and we move them all the time. What's more "interesting" is that you might get a lot of heat even here on OffTopic; although it's possible people might get into the spirit of things and have some fun. Hard to say. If it doesn't work out, I wouldn't want you to feel bad about it--some things are just not meant to be. As I posted over on Red Planet, it and the Zone go back a long time, and we've managed to coexist peacefully for the most part. I wouldn't want that to change.

Enjoy yourself, however long it lasts.
