Central Florida gets sonic boom from the Space Shuttle
It sounded like they were bombing Avon Park!
I knew the Shuttle was landing, so I was outside for it.
It happened several minutes before the actual landing.
I think this is the fourth time I've heard it.
(It's frightening if you don't know what's going on, like the middle of the night).
A local news station is interviewing a female astronaut from a previous mission and she is describing what happens to you when gravity takes over when you land and how it can often make you sick.
