Can't argue with that
Observing how passionate people can get about a patch of dirt kind of validates what I was saying recently about the power of the idea of colonization and settlement to motivate people to support space exploration. Hard to get people wound up about Velcro™ and Tang™, but get them thinking about settling down on Mars or in a space habitat (thanks to Babylon 5 and Deep Space Nine for popularizing the idea of space habitats), and they'll move heaven and Earth to get there.
