Rewilding
The whole "rewilding" movement in environmentalism (most of them aren't this radical as far as species go) has to be seen to be believed.
Also called "wildlands," it is pushed by Deep Ecologists like Edward Abbey and David Foreman, who believe humans are a cancer on the Earth.
Their websites used to have extensive maps showing where humans would no longer be allowed to live in their ideal world, but they've gotten smarter and maps are hard to find now. Here's one local map somebody archived:
Red is no human use. Yellow is regulated human use.
