I think most liberals are elitists who have a Smart Man's Burden attitude toward the ignorant masses.
I confess to being an elitist myself and I believe we have to address the problem. I just think they should be given kind doses of realism instead of the kind condescension that is represented in most commercials.
I believe that those commercials are the product of liberal thinkers. Do you think those ideas are produced by conservative think tanks? I doubt it, but I could be wrong.
Nearly everyone with reasonable intelligence who is not a sociopath wants to do the same thing for lesser and/or unfortunate beings. It is just a matter of how to go about it.
