For the kind of budget MRO has, they are the worst PR NASA project in memory
I mean come on. I know they are doing "boring" aerobraking. I suggested at the beginning of that process, they could at least have their orbital parameters being real time updated on their website. MGS did that and I found it entertaining to check on aerobraking progress whenever I wanted. MRO issues a release every few months. This is absurd for a project that cost several hundred million (500M?). Evidently, they have made the decision to basically keep very low profile until they reach science orbit, but I really don't agree with this ultra minimum of PR. This project is rivalling ESA for poor PR.
