re: History

The Sinai war and the Suez expedition in 1956 gave birth to arab nationalism.

The six days war in 1967 created the PLO.

The first war in Lebanon in 1982 engendered the Hezbollah.

The intifada repression the Hamas.

The Iraq war boosted Al Qaeda.

And this war in Lebanon, what will it create?

Lebanon is a democracy and next time, they'll vote for those opposing Israel. Besides, isn't it ironic Syria is being given the opportunity to come to the rescue and welcome tens of thousands of refugees and to freely deliver electricity into Lebanon to compensate for the destruction of power stations?
